Nebraska Wesleyan University celebrated its employees at its annual university dinner on August 18. Several employees were recognized for their years of service to the university.

 

35 Years

Nebraska Wesleyan University will host a fall international film series, featuring five films.

Hunter Reeves, a junior communication studies and Spanish major at Nebraska Wesleyan University, will spend the 2017-2018 academic year in Spain thanks to a Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship.

The junior communication major and avid biker needed a project for her research methods course — a semester-long case study of a Lincoln nonprofit organization where she would gather data, evaluate and make recommendations on best communication practices.

Judge Warren K. Urbom died on July 28, 2017. Nebraska Wesleyan University meant a lot to Warren Urbom, and Warren Urbom meant a lot to Nebraska Wesleyan University.

It began as a simple education exchange — Nebraska Wesleyan University professors and students would meet with high school teachers in Haiti this summer to offer ideas and assistance for low-level classrooms.

Members of Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Global Service Learning (GSL) student organization traveled to Guatemala this summer for their annual international service project.
